Cumby Collegiate ISD

Cumby Collegiate ISD is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Elementary Principal (PK-2 nd grade) and for High School Principal (8th – yr 13/14). The position will begin July 1st, 2025. Cumby is a small 2A, located on I-30 between Greenville and Sulphur Springs. Cumby Collegiate ISD is a district of high expectations with students who are hard-workers with quality character. Requirements: Candidate must have a Master’s degree in educational administration, Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate, and be a Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser. The candidate must also have a working knowledge of curriculum and instruction, have the ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness, ability to manage budget and personnel, ability to implement policy and procedures, ability to interpret data, and excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Preference: Candidate has at least 2 years of Instructional leadership experience. Major Responsibilities and Duties: The principal will direct and manage overall campus operations. Also, the principal is responsible for leadership of the campus instructional program ensuring high standards of instruction and student achievement, compliance with district policies, application of instructional programs, and effective operation of all campus activities. Other responsibilities include instructional management, school organizational improvement, student management, management of fiscal, administrative, and facilities functions, personnel management, school and community relations, and supervisory responsibilities. Cumby Collegiate Elementary is a Montessori campus and there will be required administrative training. Cumby Collegiate High School is a PTECH campus and additional duties and training will be required.
